I don't think it's too much to ask, do you?

My goal for this week is to not lose power.
It's happened the past two weeks and I'm getting sick of resetting the clocks.
And the VCR.
Yes, I have a VCR.
And tapes.
Yes.

(The good news is, I finished the thing I'd been working on each time the power went out, so it should stay on.)
(Said thing involved writing on a piece of paper with a pen.)
(And no use of power.)
(So I don't know why the power felt the need to go out.)
(Maybe it was feeling neglected.)

Thor: Ragnarok

And the Masters of the Universe.

What?
You didn't think that when you saw the title card?

Of course, the real question is: who's playing Skeletor?

That was close.

I'm really glad Scotty and Spock were able to save Captain Kirk from being blown up on that planet based on Earth during World War I.

It probably wasn't the director's intention.

But after watching Wonder Woman, I had to do a little research about WWI biplanes.
Turns out there were some that big.

(But honestly, that late in the war, the ice cream thing would never have happened.)
(And the Germans would have been much angrier about losing that battleship, because it was all a numbers game.)

Just say no.

I doesn't pay to be an actor named Chris playing a guy named Steve flying a plane in a movie set during a world war.

So is Themyscira in the North Sea or the Mediterranean?

Because I always thought it was near Greece.
But there's no way that that little boat made it to England in one night.
Because there's the little problem of Europe.
Unless it was a magic boat, like the ones from Avalon.
Maybe Themyscira is Avalon.
If so, does Oberon know the Amazons are there?
Are they his children, too?
Or is he going to get mad and do things, again?
And if it is Avalon, those weird sisters sure aren't very good at keeping out the riffraff.

(Do you think the Amazons ever met the gargoyles and the Scots?)
