There's nothing like reaching the end of a scene and having one of The Sound of Music children pop into your head saying, "But it doesn't mean anything!"
Yeah, I did sort of not answer that question.
And it being near the end, and the last scene for a lot of these people, I sort of needed to.
So I did.

Probably.
Is The Gifted hoping I don't remember the Morph storyline from the 90s X-Men cartoon?
Because it's really looking like that storyline right now only with different mutants.
I mean, I'm not expecting to see Master Mold or anything like that because that doesn't appear to be how sentinels work in this world, but it's really looking like someone saw that arc of episodes, or at least the first ones, and said, "Hey, that's a good idea. We should totally use it."

Dearest Dryer,
While I appreciate the effort, I'd rather not feel as though I'm pulling my clothes from the fires of Mt. Doom.
(Besides, you're making the oven feel bad.)

That sort of ruins the surprise, doesn't it?
He's got his own poster, so he must be in the movie.
I guess he got better.
Or came back from vacation.

Maybe only during the tour for the album, or maybe not at all.
Every time I see a song that's fifteen or more minutes long I wonder how often it gets played in concerts, or if it ever even gets played at all.
I'm not talking about a fifteen minute song that's half solos or an extended jam.
I'm talking about a fifteen minute song with a lot of lyrics and not a lot of repeats.
Because if heard one of those live, I'd be pretty darn impressed.

Must you play that solo now?
A slow song at the beginning of a run is completely different from a slow song at the end of one.
Now that's a ringing endorsement.
That scene was actually not horrible.
And much better than it was the day before when it had to be torn apart.
Because having them walk through the door meant they hadn't learned those things.
There may be hope for this thing yet.
Or at least another draft.
Or two.
Or seven.
